EMEA MCU & Blades Leader

The Execution Leader is responsible for fostering a "Safety First" culture, ensuring that every project is planned, executed, and completed with zero harm to people, property, or the environment, in strict accordance with global safety standards.

This role serves as a key member of the EMEA services leadership team, providing oversight for both Major Component Upgrade (MCU) and Blade service activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for multiple execution teams, ensuring that service projects—ranging from MCU operations to blade maintenance—are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires high levels of operational judgment, strategic thinking, and the ability to coordinate complex service demands across the region while maintaining focus on customer satisfaction and financial performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Safety & EHS Leadership: Champion the EHS vision. Ensure all field activities are performed according to safety protocols. Lead by example in risk assessment, incident reporting, and continuous improvement of site safety practices.
  • Operational Leadership: Provide leadership to the overall EMEA MCU and Blade service teams. Oversee the supervision, organization, and execution of service projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, cost, and quality management.
  • Strategy & Planning: Influence the development of regional service strategy, including resource allocation, policy formulation, and process improvement. Interpret business challenges and recommend best practices to enhance service efficiency.
  • Project Management: Manage project methodologies and standards to fulfill customer orders. Ensure effective coordination and scheduling are performed prior to and during the execution phase.
  • Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong contacts with customers and 3rd party providers. Act as a primary point of contact for service performance, expectations, and demand planning.
  • Technical & Operational Decision Making: Utilize in-depth knowledge of best practices to solve complex operational, product, or engineering-related problems. Use technical expertise and data analysis to support recommendations and drive new solutions.
  • Team Development: Serve as a resource for professional staff, providing mentorship and guidance. Build consensus and influence stakeholders on strategic topics. Ensure the team is aligned with the latest technical developments in the field.

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge level comparable to a Master’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant professional experience).
  • Significant experience in Wind Turbine Services and Services Project Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in field leadership and managing large, complex project teams.
  • Ability to speak and understand English fluently.
  • Professional qualification, preferably in technical discipline
  • Demonstrated customer relationship and contract management experience
  • Experience managing a P&L and implementing Service strategies in an international environment
  • Ability to work and influence effectively across functions in a matrix organization to make an impact
  • Ready for frequent domestic and international business travel

A National Collective Bargaining Agreement (‘NCBA’ - Metalworking) is applicable in relation to the position. Below, we indicate the relevant provisions of the remuneration regulations applicable at the Employer. The available benefits based on the currently effective CBA and company policies include the following:

Stipendio Base: La retribuzione seguirà le tabelle salariali previste dal CCNL di categoria Metalmeccanico Industria

Base salary: The remuneration is established according to the Metalworking CBA salary scale, which defines job groups and minimum salary levels.

Pensione Integrativa (Cometa) Tutti i livelli sono eligibili, ad eccezione dei dirigenti.
Contributo del datore di lavoro: 2% (2,2% se under 35). Contributo del dipendente: 1,2%. Base di calcolo: retribuzione mensile lorda.

Pension Fund (Cometa): All levels are eligible, except executives (dirigenti).
Employer Contribution: 2% (2.2% if under 35). Employee Contribution: 1.2%. Base: monthly gross salary.
