Job Description

This position is a fulltime Non-Exempt hourly position, supporting the ARNG Mission Command Training Program (MCTSP) The Mission Command Support Team (MCST) Trainer is responsible for MCIS training for the Mission Training Complex to include the development of Training Support Packages (TSPs), formal classroom instruction, over-the-shoulder (OTS) support, and systems integration for MTC driven individual and collective events as well as integrating requisite Live, Virtual, Constructive, Gaming and Mission Command (LVCG+MC)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:  

• MCIS trainers will conduct both formal information system operator training and informal over-the-shoulder MCIS training during collective training events. 
• Responsible for Developing Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) for the employment of MC systems.
• Design voice and data system architectures for unit staff/team collaboration and information sharing within Tactical Operations Center (TOC), Command Post (CP) and War-fighter functional area cell systems/applications architectures based on user or system design specifications.
• Develops and adapts training materials and documentation to support Gaming and Simulations capabilities.
• Develops training environments that are unique to unit training requirements, completes setup and configuration of systems, conducts testing, troubleshooting and modification of systems as required
• Delivers single and multi-echelon collective training in accordance with established MTC TSPs.
• Must support US Army Mission Command capabilities which include but not limited to CPOF, FBCB2, BFT/BFT2, JCR, JBC-P, DCGS-A, TIGR, GCCSA, ICSF, AFATDS, AMDWS, TAIS, and JADOCS.
• MCIS trainers will maintainupdate Army Mission Command Systems (MCSs) courseware documentation, which is closely aligned with each PM system TSP's.
• Reports directly to the MCST Trainer Lead

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Minimum 2 years’ Mission Command Systems teaching experience; serving as assistant instructor for the same courseware.
• Minimum 4 years’ service in or in support of the Army or other national defense service. 
• Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on one or more Mission Command Systems (MCSs) and has operated the system(s).
• Completion of a course of study leading to a minimum of experience with Army Mission Command Systems (MCSs) and software systems.
• Certified and current with Army training doctrine.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: 

High School Diploma (AA/AS preferred).

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 

Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and meet other eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
