Location: Onsite - Thousand Oaks, CA (PST preferred)

Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)

Contract Length: 6 months (possible extension)

Compensation: $27/$31 per hour (based on experience)

Summary of the Role

Support a fast-paced warehouse team at a large biotech pharmaceutical leader’s site by processing, dispensing, and distributing materials for manufacturing. Ensure accuracy and compliance with cGMP, GDP, SOPs, and safety protocols while adapting to rotating day and swing shifts. Play a crucial role in maintaining continuous material flow and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Process, pick, dispense, stage, and deliver materials for biomanufacturing according to SOPs and cGMP requirements
• Operate safely in a warehouse environment, including using Powered Industrial Vehicles after training
• Perform gowning to Grade 8-9 and work in classified dispensary areas
• Identify, escalate, and help resolve risks related to dispensing and warehouse operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on warehousing and dispensing activities
• Support and participate in continuous improvement, safety programs, and operational excellence projects
• Assist during regulatory inspections and present information to auditors as needed
• Maintain Kanban system for consumables and support external warehouse operations
• Complete all transactions accurately and in compliance with procedures
• Communicate operational issues and propose effective solutions to management

Required Experience & Skills

• Willingness to work rotating shifts including days, swings, weekends, and holidays

• Critical thinking and strong problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and handle material handling equipment
• Proficient basic math skills
• Commitment to following safety and procedural guidance
• Adaptability to changing operational priorities
• Comfortable with physical work in warehouse and cleanroom settings

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree
• GMP/GDP experience in shipping, warehousing, dispensing, manufacturing, or quality
• Experience supporting documentation revisions in CDOCS
• Knowledge of DQMS and QMTS, including supporting investigations and CAPAs
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint
• Powered Industrial Vehicle operation experience
• Familiarity with scales and weighing operations
• Experience preparing reports and presenting findings
• Participation in internal operational excellence projects
• Knowledge of ERP systems, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Teams

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Rotate between day and swing shifts following a set schedule
• Pick, dispense, and stage raw materials for biomanufacturing

• Participate in team meetings and support cross-functional projects
• Help maintain regulatory and procedural compliance

Basic Qualifications

• High school/GED and 2 years work or military experience
• Associates and 6 months work or military experience
