Location: Onsite - Thousand Oaks, CA

Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)

Contract Length: 6 months (possible extension)

Compensation: $27/$31 per hour (based on experience)

Summary of the Role

Support clinical distribution operations for a large biotech pharmaceutical leader by managing clinical order fulfillment, coordinating logistics, and handling materials at a fully onsite facility. Ensure timely and accurate shipments of clinical materials, adhering to GMP, SOPs, and compliance standards. Play a hands-on role in material tracking, documentation, and process improvement projects. Collaborate with planners and requestors to align on timelines and proactively resolve operational issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, review, package, and prepare clinical materials for shipment per GMPs and SOPs
• Execute accurate inventory and shipment transactions using SAP
• Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance for all orders
• Stage and meter outbound clinical shipments and coordinate with planners/requestors
• Safely operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs) and handle materials up to 35 lbs
• Perform inventory counts, resolve discrepancies, and document material transactions
• Support and participate in process improvement and safety projects
• Work in cold storage environments as needed
• Participate in daily team huddles to review workload and priorities

Required Experience & Skills

• Hands-on experience with SAP, Excel, and Smartsheet for logistics operations
• Strong attention to detail and proven documentation accuracy
• Ability to operate PIVs and safely handle materials up to 35 lbs
• Familiarity with GMP practices and SOP compliance
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in clinical supply chain, warehousing, or logistics settings

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field
• Previous experience in a GMP-regulated environment
• Experience within clinical or compliance-driven distribution operations

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Support clinical distribution operations on the 6:30 AM–3:30 PM shift
• Engage in daily team huddles to align on priorities
• Pick, prepare, and review clinical shipments, ensuring compliance and accuracy
• Complete transactional entries and order reviews in SAP
• Move materials internally and assist with inventory counts and discrepancies
• Contribute to investigations, process improvements, and metrics reporting
• Operate PIVs and handle materials as assigned, including cold storage work

Basic Qualifications

• High school/GED and 2 years work or military experience
• Associates and 6 months work or military experience
