Division Information

Dynacraft, a PACCAR Company, is headquartered in McKinney, TX. a suburb of Dallas. Dynacraft is a diversified global manufacturer of PACCAR medium- and heavy-duty truck parts sold under Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF nameplates. For fifty years Dynacraft has provided the company’s truck divisions and PACCAR Parts division with high quality components, subassemblies, and specialized services. Dynacraft has production facilities in Algona, WA, Louisville, KY, and McKinney, TX.

Requisition Summary

The Human Resources Specialist provides human resources support and customer service to employees and managers. This role partners with leadership and employees to execute HR programs, support recruiting and onboarding activities, maintain employee records, administer HR processes, and promote employee engagement. The HR Specialist serves as a key point of contact for HR-related inquiries while ensuring compliance with company policies, employment laws, and HR best practices. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The hours for this role would be 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Job Responsibilities

Recruitment

Coordinate onboarding activities and new hire documentation, including E-Verify and system access requests. Support recruiting efforts through phone screenings, interview coordination, pre-employment screenings, candidate tracking, and requisition management. Administer exit interviews and maintain accurate, confidential personnel records.

Training and Development

Support performance management processes, maintain employee development records, and assist with training and development programs.

Engagement

Support benefits enrollment and employee communications. Respond to employee inquiries, assist with recognition programs, and participate in initiatives that promote employee engagement and retention.

HR Compliance

Maintain employee information in HR systems and ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations. Generate HR reports, respond to employee and manager inquiries, and partner with leaders on attendance, performance management, corrective actions, compensation administration, and employee recognition. Safeguard confidential employee information.

Communication

Manage HR communications and employee announcements. Coordinate engagement activities and site-wide communications. Prepare reports for management and regulatory requirements, support HR projects, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and the employee experience.

Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Recruiting, onboarding, and HR administration
  • HRIS maintenance, employee data management, and HR reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • SAP and/or SuccessFactors experience preferred

HR Knowledge

  • Employment law and HR compliance
  • FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and Workers' Compensation
  • Employee relations and performance management
  • Benefits and leave administration

  • Strong customer service and verbal and written communication
  • Organization, prioritization, and time management

Education

  • Associate’s degree in human resources, Business, or a related field required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–2 years of relevant Human Resources experience required.
