What's the role?

We are looking for experienced multi-skilled, MC+FEL Operators to join our well-established Qube team in Port Hedland. These are full-time, fly-in/fly-out positions and operators will be responsible for the operation of triple & quad road train side-tippers & Front-End Loaders carting & transporting a variety of products for our various site operations within the Pilbara region in Western Australia.

To be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:

  • Current MC Licence 
  • Must have prior experience operating triple & quad road trains combinations
  • Minimum of 12 months prior experience operating CAT 972, CAT 980, Komatsu WA 500 or similar
  • Prior experience with side-tippers and/or belly-dumpers
  • National Police Clearance & Traffic History Report – Dated within 3-6 months of application
  • Maritime Security Identification Card – or ability to obtain one
  • WA Fatigue Management Certificate – valid within 3 years
  • Current Front-End Loader & Forklift tickets
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other operators
  • Ability to maintain accurate records of work completed 
  • Good knowledge of load restraint guidelines
  • Good mechanical aptitude
