Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for Thermal Management products.
  • Create and maintain 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and engineering documentation.
  • Support global NPDI programs from concept through product launch.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality, Product Management, and Validation teams.
  • Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and design evaluations.
  • Support prototype development, testing, and design verification activities.
  • Drive cost reduction, manufacturability, serviceability, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Manage engineering releases, product structures, revisions, and documentation through PLM systems.
  • Participate in technical reviews, root-cause investigations, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Support supplier development and product industrialization activities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 4-8 years of experience in mechanical product design and development.
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD software, preferably PTC Creo.
  • Experience using PLM systems and engineering change-management processes.
  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal design, piping systems, welded structures, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Ability to create and interpret engineering drawings in accordance with applicable standards.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
  • Knowledge of BOM structures and product configuration management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in HVAC, Chiller, Refrigeration, Data Center Cooling, CRAH, CRAC, or Thermal Management products.
  • Basic understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and refrigeration systems.
  • Experience working in a global or multinational engineering organization.
  • Experience supporting NPDI programs.
