About the Role A fast-moving MCA company is looking for a detail-oriented Bank Statement Scrubber to support their underwriting team. You'll dig into merchant bank statements to give underwriters the clear financial picture they need to make funding decisions — spotting prior funding, overdrafts, and cash flow patterns that tell the real story of where a merchant stands.

Key Responsibilities

Bank Statement Review

• Analyze merchant bank statements in preparation for underwriting review
• Identify prior MCA funding or existing advances on the account
• Flag overdrafts, NSFs, and other red flags that impact eligibility

Merchant Financial Assessment

• Evaluate deposit trends and cash flow to determine merchant stability
• Summarize findings in a clear, actionable format for underwriters
• Build a comprehensive financial picture to support offer decisions

Underwriting Support

• Work closely with underwriters to ensure accurate and timely deal flow
• Maintain organized records of reviewed statements and findings
• Keep up with volume in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing bank statements or financial documents preferred
• Familiarity with the MCA or alternative lending industry is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies quickly
• Comfortable working at a high volume with tight turnaround times
