Job Description

The primary role of the FIFO Road Train Operator is to safely and efficiently transport ore operating a triple road train side tipper, requiring an MC class of license.

About the Position

Hampton Mining & Civil is seeking experienced Operators to join their team. 2:1 Roster FIFO ex Perth or Busselton

The day-to-day duties include:

• Loading and unloading vehicles using correct processes with loader
• Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles
• Make regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely
• Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight
• Completing paperwork correctly
• Performing your duties whilst adhering to Hamptons OH & S requirements and values

Key Requirements:

• Current MC Class Driver’s License
• Proven 2+ years demonstrated work history of operating Jumbo Road Train Side Tippers, AMMS knowledge (desirable)
• Fatigue Management Online Certificate Completed
• Commercial Drivers Medical Assessment
• Loader experience with Loadrite - desirable
• Successful candidates will have to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen and produce a current National Police Clearance.
