Job Purpose:

The Jazz OAN Resource is responsible for managing and overseeing the operational and technical aspects of the access network, ensuring seamless service delivery, fault resolution, and stakeholder coordination. This role involves active and passive network management, quality KPI analysis, inventory control, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to maintain network performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fault Management & Resolution

  • Monitor and resolve faults related to Micro-FLM, OMO-FLM, B2S-FLM, and other network components.
  • Rectify fault occurrences, including spare parts issuance, delivery to sites, and timely resolution.
  • Manage Telco fault reporting, including prior fault occurrence reporting, alarms, and stats-based analysis.

2. Quality KPI Management

  • Conduct quality KPI analysis and reporting (e.g., NAR Reporting, DCR, TCH Availability, repeated occurrence sites).
  • Ensure adherence to performance benchmarks and implement corrective actions for deviations.

3. Business & Technical Support

  • Provide support for business-related tasks, including access/link power requirements and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate with planning teams for NRO (Network Rollout Operations) and regional KPIs.
  • Manage ATP (Acceptance Test Plan) acceptance for BSS/TXN Telco.

4. Inventory & Spares Management

  • Oversee Telco inventory management, including spares movement between Huawei warehouses and FLM vendor locations.
  • Ensure timely issuance and delivery of spares for fault rectification.

5. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as a liaison for Sales Regional POCs, addressing complaints and joint ventures.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Jazz Comm, BIZ, RAN Log) and external partners (B2S, OMOs, Huawei).
  • Manage escalation matrices and monthly meetings for OMO & B2S operations.

6. Portal & System Management

  • Administer NOC portals for Telco PM and RSL reasoning.
  • Oversee Service Portal tasks (CCMS, ECRF, site locking, etc.).
  • Ensure timely Telco PM cycles, audits, and quality checks.

7. Billing & Invoicing

  • Handle monthly/quarterly invoicing processes, including B2S reconciliation, Huawei Telco invoicing, and Deodar quarterly invoicing.

8. Disaster & HSSE Management

  • Develop and implement disaster management plans for adverse conditions (e.g., bad weather, Muharram holidays, lockdowns).
  • Ensure Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) compliance across operations.

9. Network Audits & Capex Planning

  • Conduct network audits and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Assist in Capex planning and deployment management for network upgrades.

10. Change & Access Management

  • Oversee network change management for rollouts, upgrades (e.g., MIMO), and other modifications.
  • Manage access control for OMO & B2S, including whitelist and automation processes.

11. Additional Duties

  • Coordinate FTTS (Fiber to the Site) activities as required.
  • Support PTA/USF regulatory requirements and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 05 years of relevant experience in Telecom Operations & Maintenance.
  • Strong technical expertise in BSS, Transmission, and Power systems.
  • Sound knowledge of 2G/3G/4G KPIs and network performance management.
  • Strong coordination, reporting, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer centric approach to identify and fix network issues
  • Hands-on experience in Transmission equipment (Ericsson)
  • Should not have any concerns working round the clock and if required on Holidays (including public holidays) as an emergency Resource
