Job Description

INNOVIM is seeking a Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.

Location: Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO
Relocation Assistance: None available at this time
Shift: Day shift
Travel Required: Up to 10% of the time

The candidate will:

• Drive culture and adoption of MBSE and Digital Engineering (DE) throughout the organization by promoting the use of MBSE/DE and providing training and support to the teams.
• Develop standard work and business operating procedures.
• Create formal processes for applying MBSE and DE within the program.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams by working closely with various engineering disciplines and departments to ensure acohesive and integrated system design and digital environment.
• Communicate complex engineering technical information to team members of various backgrounds and disciplines.
• Support Enterprise SEs to incorporate Model-based Systems Engineering practices and peer review SE program guidance.

Basic Requirements:

• Must have 10, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience, which may be reduced with completion of advanced education
• Must have 5, or more, years of directly related systems engineering (or relevant experience)
• Must have 6, or more, months of experience working in a management or leadership role
• Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Requirements:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in IT or any STEM related field
• Have knowledge of systems engineering frameworks (e.g. DoDAF, UAF, TOGAF)
• Have knowledge of modeling languages (e.g. SySML, UML)
• Have experience using model-based SE tools (DOORs, Cameo, Rhapsody, etc.)

This position is expected to pay $130,000 – $145,000 annually, depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
