Job Description

The IBM Maximo EAM Functional Specialist is responsible for administering, configuring, supporting, and enhancing the IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system. The role provides technical support, develops workflows and reports, manages system integrations, troubleshoots issues, and collaborates with business users and IT teams to ensure reliable and efficient asset management operations.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Administer, configure, and support IBM Maximo 7.x applications.
  • Troubleshoot Maximo, IBM HTTP Server, and integration-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain Maximo workflows, roles, actions, and action groups.
  • Create and maintain BIRT/Actuate reports and Cognos integration.
  • Perform data migration using MDL, GDL, SQL, and PL/SQL.
  • Configure and support Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) interfaces.
  • Prepare technical documentation and system configuration guides.
  • Collaborate with users, vendors, and IT teams to deliver system enhancements and resolve issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years with IBM Maximo.
  • Strong experience in Maximo 7.x installation, configuration, and administration.
  • Knowledge of Maximo workflows, MIF, BIRT, Cognos, and WebSphere.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2, SQL, and PL/SQL.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • IBM Maximo 7.x certification is preferred, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
