Job Description

Responsive recruiter
At Seniors Helping Seniors, we don’t just fill shifts; we build relationships. Owned and operated by local husband-and-wife team Matt and Erin Eckard, our agency was founded on the belief that care is most meaningful when it comes from a place of shared experience. We are currently looking for mature, dependable Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) who want to provide dignity and joy to seniors in our community.

The Rewards

  • Competitive Pay: $19/hr to $20+/hr

  • Respectful Matching: We thoughtfully match you with clients based on personality and interests—not just a checklist.

  • Reliable Support: 24/7 access to our leadership team. We are always by your side.

  • Growth: Paid training, ongoing education, and unlimited referral bonuses.

  • Flexible Schedule

What You’ll Do

You will serve as a "clinical anchor" for your clients, providing:

  • Meaningful companionship

  • Safe assistance with ADLs and specialized memory care (Alzheimer’s/Dementia).

  • Light housekeeping and meal preparation.

  • Reliable transportation for errands and vital medical appointments (e.g., dialysis support).

What We’re Looking For

We value mature professionals who understand the importance of boundaries, communication, and heart.

  • Active NJ CHHA Certification (Required).

  • A valid driver’s license and reliable auto insurance.

  • A compassionate, "can-do" attitude with strong clinical judgment.

  • Ability to treat every client with the same dignity you’d want for your own family.

Becoming a Caregiver
Professional caregivers go by many names: homemakers, home care aides, home health aides, certified nursing assistants, personal care assistants, direct care workers. No matter the name, what they all have in common is a calling to care for people in the comfort of their own homes.

As our population ages, the demand for caregivers is growing every day! Is this career right for you?
