MATTAPOISETT, MA (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) - A warm, welcoming family in Plymouth County near Buzzards Bay is seeking a loving, engaging FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY to love and care for their active and joyful 22-month-old son. This is a long-term, live-out role starting in early 2026, ideal for someone who truly loves toddlers and is passionate about early childhood development. The family works from home and is eager to partner with a nanny who feels confident taking the lead during the day; planning activities, getting their son out of the house, and creating a stimulating, enriching routine that supports his growth and curiosity.
The schedule is full-time, with coverage needed Monday through Friday from 8/9:00 AM–5:00 PM. The family is open to discussing structure and flexibility with the right candidate, particularly around travel. They spend 6–8 weeks each winter in Naples, Florida, and would love a nanny who is open to traveling with them during that time, as well as occasional additional travel as work trips or family vacations arise. Private bedroom and bathroom accommodations are available in all locations during travel.
Their son is happy, energetic, and thrives on engagement. His days are structured around play, meals, outdoor time, and a midday nap, and he loves being active, exploring, and learning through hands-on experiences. The ideal nanny is not a passive babysitter but an active educator and play partner; someone who enjoys teaching, talking with children, planning learning-based activities, and fully engaging throughout the day. A background or strong interest in early childhood development is a plus. Responsibilities focus primarily on the child and include preparing his meals, cleaning up after meals and play, taking him to activities and outings, and supporting his learning and development. The family has a house cleaner and additional support for laundry and deep cleaning, so household duties are limited to child-related tasks.
The family lives in a gated residential community with ample parking, walkable paths, and a nearby playground. A family car is available for transporting the child to activities. Comfort with pets is important, as there is one dog in the home. The family is seeking someone loving, independent, proactive, outgoing, and warm; someone who can confidently manage the day without relying on constant direction and who truly enjoys building a close bond with a young child. Above all, they hope to find someone who will feel like part of the family and be deeply invested in their son’s happiness and development.
The family is offering $30-35+/hour paid via payroll, along with paid vacation, paid holidays, and paid sick days. Health insurance or a stipend may be discussed. An NDA may be requested.
