As a Maître d'Hôtel at Nestlé Research, your mission is to ensure smooth, efficient and high-quality food and beverage service across our restaurants, coffee areas and events. You’ll make a difference by collaborating closely with service teams, kitchen colleagues, event partners and support functions.

How you’ll make an impact as a Maître d'Hôtel

  • Leading smooth daily service operations across restaurants, coffee areas and events to deliver a consistent guest experience.
  • Driving service excellence through high standards of presentation, timing, hospitality and attention to detail.
  • Coordinating closely with kitchen, events and support teams to ensure seamless preparation and delivery.
  • Improving buffet concepts and service flows with practical ideas that enhance quality, aesthetics and guest satisfaction.
  • Ensuring strong food safety standards, operational discipline and cost awareness across all service areas.
  • Building an inclusive, supportive and high-performing team culture through clear communication, coaching and delegation.

What will make you successful

  • Bringing strong front-of-house leadership in food and beverage service, with the ability to guide teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Applying hands-on experience in multi-outlet food and beverage environments, including restaurants, banquets and cafeterias, with an understanding of different service formats and guest expectations.
  • Using food safety, hygiene and cost-awareness practices to support safe, efficient and sustainable operations.
  • Coordinating event and banqueting operations from setup to service delivery, including high-volume service, cross-team alignment and smooth guest experiences.
  • Communicating fluently in English and French.
  • Bringing collaboration, fresh thinking, bold questions, respect, and a positive, wellbeing-oriented mindset.
