Calculus Help Center Tutor; Peer-to-peer tutor

Department: Mathematics

Location: Bailey Hall

Supervisor: Paul Friedman

Work available: 1 night a week, Sunday through Thursday, 7:30pm-10:00pm

Rate of Pay: $15.50/hr

Number of Positions available: 1

Essential Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide tutoring for Calculus students

Qualifications:

• Calculus through Math 115 with grades of no less than A-.
• Preference will be given to students who have also completed Math 117 (with a grade ≥ A-), are declared math majors, are considering becoming a math teacher or pursuing graduate work in mathematics, and have other tutoring experience (not necessary, though).

Location: Schenectady, NY
