Job Qualifications:
· Math competency through at least Algebra 1 (Pre-calculus and Calculus knowledge a plus!)· Excellent attendance and reliability· Proficient communication skills· Passion for math· Prior tutoring experience is preferred but not required
Requirements:
· Instruct using the Mathnasium Method (training provided)· Score and correct student work· Assist in non-teaching tasks as needed
Instructor pay range: $13-$20 per hour (higher pay awarded with experience and advanced math knowledge!)
**All applicants will be required to take a math proficiency test, provide work authorization, and pass a background check

Compensation: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour

Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.

Our teaching method, the Mathnasium Method™, is the life’s work of Larry Martinek, Mathnasium’s Chief Instructional Officer and a teacher and math teaching consultant in the Los Angeles area for more than 35 years. The Mathnasium Method™ uses a time-tested, customized program which stems from a unique assessment to identify what students need to improve their math skills. We offer personalized instruction, proprietary worksheets, and games to build Number Sense and provide a fun and supportive environment in which children can learn and practice math.
