Job Description

Roseville Area Schools has a vacancy at Roseville Area Middle School for a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher for a 1.0 FTE position starting August 31, 2026. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, engaging instruction in Algebra 8 and Intermediate Algebra 8, fostering critical thinking, mathematical proficiency, and problem-solving skills among 8th-grade students.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver rigorous mathematics lessons aligned with state standards for Algebra 8 and Intermediate Algebra 8.
• Create an inclusive, welcoming, and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning for all students.
• Assess student progress regularly using both formative and summative evaluations, adapting instruction to meet individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with department colleagues, grade-level teams, and support staff to improve instructional practices and student outcomes.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians regarding academic performance, behavior, and growth

Qualifications:

• A MN Teaching License in secondary mathematics is required.
• Commitment to an equitable educational experience for all.
• Demonstrated understanding of cultural competence.

Compensation: Minimum full year, full time starting salary is $53,085, plus a district contribution towards insurance.
