Job Title: Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician

Location: York, PA

Employment Type: PRN

Position Highlights:

  • Consultative-Only MFM Practice -No deliveries required.
  • Robust referral relationships and strong support from OB colleagues.
  • Advanced Ultrasound Services; State-of-the-art ultrasound units, AIUM-accredited sonography team trained in Obstetric and Fetal Echocardiography.
  • Comprehensive Support Teams – Dedicated genetics counselors; Diabetes care team including a diabetes educator, nutritionist, and diabetes para-professional.
  • Exceptional Culture – Strong employee engagement; Team-oriented and highly patient-focused environment.
  • Location – Call responsibilities take place at York Hospital, and the outpatient clinic is conveniently located only a short distance from the hospital
  • Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
  • Minimum Need 1 week per month (additional weeks available if desired).

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Upon Hire Required and
  • Subspecialty Certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Upon Hire Required and
  • Completion of an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency. Upon Hire Required and
  • Completion of a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship. Upon Hire Required and
  • Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of WellSpan Hospitals. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Teaching skills.
