Responsibilities:

The Material Handling Representative I responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Operate manual and motorized material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and picking carts, in compliance with OSHA regulations and safety guidelines.
• Receive, inspect, verify, and distribute incoming supplies, materials, and equipment, ensuring shipments match packing slips and purchase orders.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by monitoring stock levels, rotating inventory, identifying shortages, conducting cycle counts and physical inventories, and reporting stock-outs or discrepancies.
• Utilize inventory, purchasing, patient charge, and replenishment scanning systems to issue supplies, process patient charges, replenish stock, and resolve receiving, shipment, purchasing, and inventory-related issues.
• Restock nursing units, supply carts, PAR carts, crash carts, storage areas, and other designated locations; monitor expiration dates and ensure supplies are properly organized and maintained.
• Exchange, replenish, charge, and inspect adult and pediatric crash carts, including verification of expired or used supplies.
• Deliver and retrieve patient care equipment, disaster carts, supplies, and other materials throughout the facility, ensuring critical items are available when needed.
• Clean, maintain, and prepare equipment, carts, supply rooms, storage areas, and workspaces to support efficient operations and workplace safety.
• Participate in daily team huddles and collaborate with department staff to support operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
• Promote positive working relationships with internal and external customers through responsive, professional service.

• Previous warehouse, distribution or customer service experience
• Microsoft Outlook experience
