What you will be doing

SCOPE:

Perform duties to prepare required documentation, arrange for the staging and shipping of products and materials and maintain related records, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Enter data to computer to generate finished good labelling in preparation for shipments.
• Follow all quality inspections required for finished good packaging
• Calculate dimensions and weights as required. Ensure controlled documented packing instructions are verified and processed
• Respond to inquiries, provide directions and other information to operators as needed.
• Prepare any range of special or periodic reports relating to departmental activity.
• Finished goods inventory processing
• Manage overflow and work in process partial finished goods out-processing
• Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition in accordance with 5 S standards.
• Requires the ability to perform all duties within limitation of the standard methods and procedures, and in accordance with strict adherence to HSE, quality and productivity requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Ensure quality sampling requirements are met in accordance with all documented requirements
• Support shipping department as required

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

• Passing forklift exam based on internal requirements
• Strong Mathematics Skills
• Strong typing an PC Skills (Data Entry, Word Processing, Excel Spreadsheet)
• Excellent attention to Detail
• Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Knowledge of process related standards
• Proven ability to develop successful partnerships with internal and external team members

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

• SAP MRP functionality
• Ability to think critically and theoretically
