Manitowoc Pattern & Machining (MP&M) | Manitowoc, WI
1st shift, Monday – Friday, 6 am – 2 pm
If you like staying busy, keeping things organized, and being someone your team can count on—this could be a great fit.
This isn’t a sit-behind-a-desk kind of role. It’s hands-on, fast-paced, and critical to keeping production moving. You’ll be the one making sure materials are where they need to be, shipments go out correctly, and nothing falls through the cracks.
What your day will actually look like:
- Moving materials in and out (yes, you’ll be on a forklift—we’ll train you)
- Receiving parts and keeping inventory accurate in the system
- Preparing outgoing shipments with the right paperwork (BOLs, packing slips, etc.)
- Supporting the shop floor—washing parts, staging jobs, helping where needed
- Assisting with light assembly and general production support
- Working closely with the team to keep things running smoothly
This role is a great fit if you:
- Prefer staying active over sitting all day
- Take pride in being reliable and following through
- Pay attention to the small details (they matter here)
- Are flexible and don’t mind shifting between tasks
- Like being part of a team that depends on each other
What you’ll need:
- 1–2 years in manufacturing, warehouse, or a similar environment
- Comfort with computers (ERP systems, Microsoft Office basics)
- Willingness to learn (including forklift certification—we’ll help you get there)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet
The environment:
This is a working machine shop—there’s movement, noise, and a team that takes pride in what they do. You’ll be on your feet, around moving equipment, and wearing PPE like safety glasses and steel-toe boots.
