<ABOUT THE POSITION>

Follow the brand/company direction to provide the seasonal forecast report and strategy to raw material suppliers (fabric) each season. To manage both SMS and bulk order on time delivery performance (OTP) with Raw Materials Partners (RMPs). Be a bridge between the cross functional teams, internal and external partners to solve the issues and shorten order delay days. For this position, he/she is responsible for the project of “Seasonal Excess Management".

<HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE>

• Materials Planning & Production:
  To manage RMP's on-time delivery from forecast, production planning, capacity management, quality and problem solving until the order delivers on time to FGPs (finished goods partners). Provide regular evaluations of RMP's performance (KPI). After shipment, when facing the defect or complaints from FGPs, to be a bridge between PLO (Production Liaison office) /Quality Team and FGPs to quick complete the raw material replacement case.

• Operation:
  Ensure that all necessary material reports are updated and accurate in system by weekly based. Work with Vietnam GSP Team (global supply planning) to deliver the forecast and seasonal order planning to RMPs (raw material partners), then RMPs can based on the forecast to prepare for raw material and capacity in order to meet our OTP expectations (lead time with greige) for each buy date. Leading and managing the seasonal raw material strategy & plan with each RMP. Supporting to deliver the urgent order request to RMP, sometimes the end customer will request the shorten lead time to support the market needs. Taking the project lead role when needed. Hold SABR (semi-annual business review) meeting with RMPs at least twice a year. Need cross functional working behaviour and communication skills to work with different teams in different countries, like PLO production team, PLO Quality Team, Vietnam GSP Team, PDX HQ GSP Team, and Teams in Taiwan/Taipei – Material Development Team, Color Team, Material Quality Team and CR Team and so on.

• Costing:
  Deal with the seasonal carryover PDM#/fabric price with RMPs.

• Excess Management:
  Conduct the seasonal greige prebuild plan based on final company business decision in the beginning of the season. Evey season in different timeline will need to collect the excess at RMP side. In the end of the seasonal excess process, need to deal with the debit not/finance process with RMPs. Following Seasonal Excess Management SOP to execute this task.

<YOU HAVE>

• Bachelor degree in textiles related field or equivalent working experience.
• 5 years experience in the textiles or apparel field including 2 years production management.
• Knowledge of textiles, including fiber, yarns, fabrication, textiles manufacturing, dyeing and finishing. Familiar with textile materials testing methods.
