To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Materials Planning located in Guadalajara South

Reporting to the Materials Manager the Materials Planning role is Responsible for managing customer quotation activities, including cost analysis, pricing strategy, and proposal development. Partners with Operations, Finance, and Program Management teams to deliver competitive quotations and ensure smooth transition of awarded business to execution

What a typical day looks like:

  • Ensure that inventory level and turn goals are achieved, including reduction of back orders and enhancing customer service.
  • Meets with Senior Management to obtain strategic information that could impact the forecast. Works with team to modify the forecast for historical and environmental events. Works closely with different departments to accurately develop and maintain an accurate forecast.
  • Hold cross-functional meetings to review the Supply and Demand plan
  • Review issues and make recommendations that deal with long-term constraints, customer service levels, inventory targets, the current forecast, and backlog.
  • Ensure assigned projects are clear-to-build and ready for production execution.
  • Analyze and load customer demand requirements into the planning system to support production scheduling.
  • Evaluate and assess the impact of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) on materials, production, and delivery commitments.
  • Lead and participate in regular meetings with the Purchasing team to review and mitigate critical material shortages and supply risks.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Materials Planning, Production Planning, or Supply Chain roles.
  • Experience in the Electronics Manufacturing Industry (EMS) is required.
  • Proven experience managing customer demand, forecasting, inventory control, and supply chain planning activities.
  • Experience leading cross-functional reviews of supply and demand plans, inventory targets, backlog management, and customer service performance.
  • Strong knowledge of production readiness processes, including Clear-to-Build (CTB) analysis and execution.
  • Experience assessing and implementing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and their impact on materials, production schedules, and customer deliveries.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with Purchasing, Planning, Manufacturing, and Customer Service teams to resolve critical material shortages and supply risks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations to support business objectives.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal) required for interaction with global teams and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment while managing multiple priorities.
