Job Description

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Supply Chain Planning Analyst to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to develop and optimize supply chain strategies that directly enable Intel's business objectives and customer satisfaction.

As a key contributor, you will analyze, plan, and execute supply chain activities that ensure the seamless flow of materials, alignment of capacity with demand, and achievement of operational excellence.

Your insights and recommendations will play a vital role in addressing supply chain complexities, influencing decision-making, and delivering continuous improvements within our fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize supply chain planning schedules, forecasts, materials, build plans, and capacity requirements to align with customer and business needs.
  • Conduct scenario planning to evaluate engineering, product, process, and inventory strategies and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Resolve inventory challenges by ensuring the efficient flow, depth, and timing of inventory to meet both short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Provide data-driven insights to demand management teams, balancing supply and demand within given constraints.
  • Plan, prepare, issue, and control supply chain schedules and materials requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational demands.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to manage materials effectively, ensuring uninterrupted operations and seamless material flow.
  • Evaluate supply chain capacity and capabilities to support Intel's dynamic business strategies and objectives.
  • Interface with subcontractors to negotiate pricing, performance, and contracts while maintaining high operational standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications, are required to be initially considered for this position:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field OR
  • 4+ years of experience in supply chain planning, production planning, or related fields.

Experience mentioned above must be in:

  • Data analysis tools and techniques, including to interpret and apply quantitative insights to supply chain scenarios.
  • Supply chain planning systems and methodologies, including capacity planning, inventory control, and supply-demand analysis.
  • Semiconductor supply chain processes and optimization techniques.
  • Advanced English level

Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Costa Rica (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship).

Preferred Qualifications, are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates:

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field OR 3+ years of experience in supply chain planning, production planning, or related fields.
  • PhD in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field. OR 1+ years of experience in supply chain planning, production planning, or related fields.
  • Advanced understanding of lean management principles and production planning systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating data-driven insights and influence stakeholders across cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Passion for leveraging innovative solutions to solve challenges in a dynamic supply chain environment.
