Job Description

Infleqtion is a global quantum technology company solving the world’s most challenging problems. The company harnesses quantum mechanics to build and integrate quantum computers, sensors, and networks. From fundamental physics to leading-edge commercial products, Infleqtion enables "quantum everywhere" through our ecosystem of devices and platforms. Our mission is to commercialize atom-based quantum products that provide orders-of-magnitude improvements in performance and computing applications.

The Materials Planner is an experienced individual contributor responsible for planning and coordinating material availability to support production schedules, program milestones, and customer requirements. This position translates demand into material plans, identifies shortages and supply risks, and coordinates actions with procurement, production, engineering, quality, and program management. The role requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and experience using material requirements planning (MRP) systems to balance delivery commitments, inventory investment, and changing priorities. The Materials Planner III independently manages complex planning assignments, improves planning processes, and mentors less experienced team members.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Five or more years of experience in materials planning, production planning, inventory management, or a related supply chain function.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex material plans, multiple programs, or competing production priorities.
  • Strong working knowledge of MRP and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, including interpreting planning outputs and resolving exceptions.
  • Experience working with bills of material, work orders, inventory records, lead times, and engineering changes.
  • Understanding of inventory management practices, demand and supply balancing, and production scheduling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and analysis of large data sets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate planning data into clear priorities and practical actions.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills across procurement, production, engineering, quality, and program management.
  • Strong attention to detail, ownership of commitments, and ability to work with limited supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting aerospace, defense, government contracting, or another regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with material documentation and traceability requirements associated with government contracts.
  • Experience planning long-lead, configuration-controlled, or limited-source materials.
  • Experience with direct production materials and indirect materials or supplies supporting operations.
  • ASCM Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification.
  • Experience with Lean practices, continuous improvement, or business intelligence reporting tools.

Benefits

  • Salary Range: per year 115000-135000
  • 100% company-paid medical, dental, vision, short/long-term disability
  • Employer-funded Health Savings Account
  • Unlimited PTO
