Materials Planner

What will your responsibilities be?
- Customer demand evaluation, materials and production planning and control, delivery to customer
- Receive and analyze short term customer orders, prepare delivery plan and ensure on time delivery to customer following Customer Specific Requirements
- Prepare analyzes and reports of long-term volume trends from customers
- Preparation of detailed production plan according to customer demands, control production output and implement corrective measures with team in order to accomplish weekly plan
- Material planning to ensure production requirements, preparation and release of materials orders to suppliers, control material stock and material deliveries according internal rules
- Appropriate coordination and communication with customers and suppliers
- Creates necessary forms, work instructions and reports according to internal rules
- Works closely with engineering and production department in order to ensure proper implementation of production preparation tasks and change management
- Actively participates in the periodic inventory
- Performs other job-related activities based on the Materials and Logistics Manager’s instructions

- Responsible for reporting daily on all key performance measures of materials department, including inventory valuation, cycle counts and inventory accuracy, and past due parts
- Responsible for achieving inventory valuation and inventory turn targets for assigned products
- Actively participates in Health/Safety/Environmental investigations and the 8D process in order to develop root cause analysis for problem resolution as required
- Reporting accidents, occupational illnesses, and HSE&E emergencies, and inform supervisor of known HSE&E conditions which could adversely affect other team members, assets or to the public
- Ensures compliance with all safety procedures and ensures safe working procedures in assigned production areas
- Responsible for BOS compliance to MMSA procedures as established by SCM
Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?
- University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in materials planning, production planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments is an advantage.
