To assist in operating a storeroom and a par level system in a neat, efficient manner and to maintain good inventory control while supplying the hospital effectively on a day to day basis.
Reviews standard amounts of supplies (par levels) and makes recommendations to Materials Manager for increases and decreases in inventory.
Performs distribution function daily.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Materials Manager.
Performs patient charge function.
Rotates stock to contribute to better patient care and prevent outdated stock.
Maintains a clean and organized storeroom.
Education:
High School graduate or equivalent.
Experience:
Experience in receiving, stocking, and inventory control is preferred.
