Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Supports the hospital's mission and the department by maintaining accurate par levels, performing cycle counts and all duties as assigned by the Director of Materials Management.

Preferred Qualification
Professional certification. Associates Degree plus two years purchasing experiece.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Static postures such as sitting or standing and prolonged computer use can cause musculoskeletal disorders (MSD), especially if the work is conducted in an awkward postion, requires excessive force or includes repetitive motion.
JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS
1. Demonstrates an understanding of and adherence to the HMHD Compliance Plan.
2. Conduct reflects HMHD's values and a commitment to HMHD's Code of Conduct.
3. Attends the required corporate integrity and compliance training and education programs.
4. Demonstrates proficiency in understanding the materials presented during the corporate integrity and compliance training and education program.
5. Complies with all HIPAA standards.
6. Reviews daily stock outs and corrects issues.
7. Looks for opportunities to improve inventory control process.
8. Assist Material Management Supervisor with necessary changes to par stock in the main storeroom to assure adequate stock for floors.
9. Counts and maintains floor and charge stock inventory management areas within employees responsibility.
10. Accurately checks and fills floor stock.
11. Issues, fills and delivers requisitioned supplies to departments within the employees responsibility.
12. Maintains accurate par levels at areas of resposibility.
13. Communicates areas of need in realtion to supplies.
14. Performs cycle counts in stock locations as required.
15. Performs all duties assigned by the Director of Materials Management.
