This position is for the Materials Management Associate-LevelThree(MMIII)position at PCI San Diego, Inc. The primary work environment will be in a controlled Warehouse, adherent to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and procedures, working with temperature-controlled materials in equally controlled environments. The ideal employee will support the processes associated with the movement and storage of inventory to other PCI San Diego, Inc. departments and sites. The employee occupying this positionwill have anadvancedunderstanding of the receipt, shipment, and general storage and movement of GMP materials. Employees will be expected to follow PCI San Diego’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for materials handling and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) when handling internal and external documents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The basic duties and responsibilities include the following, but other duties may be assigned.

• Participation in the management and processing of GMP materials

• Maintains knowledge ofrequireddepartmental and secondary SOPs and training curriculum

• Performs various materials management functions such as receiving incoming materials, inventory control, shipping materials, and internallogisticsrelated tasks such as material transfers.

• Complete and comparevarious documents toidentifydiscrepancies and reconciliations.

• Handles various materials within different temperature environments.

• Handles various chemicals within controlled settings with proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Utilizes materials management equipment such as Pallet Jacks, Forklifts, and Narrow-Aisle machinery.

• Functionsas a Subject Matter Expert (SME) ontheir specific role within the department.

• Regular and reliable attendance on a full-time basis.

• Responsible forexhibitingprofessional behavior with both internal and external business associates thatreflectpositively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices.

• Embodies PCI Pharma Services cultural values and aligns daily actions with department goals and company culture.

While performing the duties the employee is:

• Frequentlyrequired to sit and reach to use computers and other office equipment.

• Constantly stand or walk for extended periods of time, up to four (4) hours/time.

• Frequently required toliftupto25lbs unassisted.

• Occasionally required to lift over25lbs with/withoutassistance

• Constantly required to view objects at close and distant ranges with hand and eye coordination.

• Frequently required toutilizevarious typesof equipment.

Note:For this, occasionallymayrepresent(1-3x) a week. Constantly andfrequentlyshould be considered as normally occurring activities throughout the workdaybased on work demand.

*The hiring rate for this position is $24.08 - $27.09 plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
