Nature and Scope
The role of the Materials Management Associate is to support the Materials Management team with an emphasis on warehouse and inventory management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receiving & Inspection - Unloading shipments, verifying quantities against packing slips, and inspecting packaging for damage or tampering.
• Inventory Management - Organizing stock using "First-In, First-Out" (FIFO) methods to ensure products don’t expire on the shelf.
• Order Picking & Staging - Using scanners and paper pick-slips to gather products for production and outgoing orders, securing finished product packing in appropriate shipping containers for transportation.
• Documentation - Maintaining accurate logs and spreadsheets for every movement and process. Critical for maintaining paper trails.
• Quality Control - Monitoring warehouse temperatures and cleanliness to ensure a safe flow through the warehouse, and that products remain safe for production use.
• Safety & Compliance - Operating equipment according to safety guidelines and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Transporting - Driving company truck between sites delivering materials for production schedule and department needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse.
• Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by management.
Education Requirements and Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• 1+ years of warehouse experience or similar job duties, preferred.
• Must be able to count inventory accurately, and perform basic math for shipping and receiving logs.
• Able to navigate Microsoft Office programs to manage spreadsheets and emails.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to certify and drive material handling equipment in warehouse areas.
• Must be able to read documents in Standard English such as Standard Operating Procedures, maintenance schedules and operating manuals.
• Must have a valid U.S driver license and be able to operate vehicles safely.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
Physical Environment and Requirements
• Employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move between 35 to 50 pounds.
• Employee must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
• Physically able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to composite toe safety shoes, safety glasses, nitrile/cut resistant gloves, and lab coats or sleeves.
• Drive material handling equipment including a manual pallet jack and forklift.
Expected Salary Range:
$23.61-25.00
