The Materials Management, Accounts Payable, and Credentialing Consultant provides guidance and education across a broad range of responsibilities related to supply chain, financial, and credentialing functions. This role supports procurement of supplies; purchasing processes; requisitions and invoice management; monthly and annual budget oversight; analysis of operational supply variances; inventory and par level systems; case costing; vendor relationship management; and verification of contractual pricing.
Additional responsibilities include oversight of billing company submission of invoices for all billable items carved out from the facility fee, human tissue tracking, supply and implant ordering, and just‑in‑time supply management. The Consultant also provides guidance for credentialing and privileging processes.
This position reports to the Valley Health Surgery Center Director.
Education
High School diploma or GED is required.
Associate's degree in Business or related field is preferred.
Experience
Experience with spreadsheet software is required.
Two years of inventory and/or accounts payable experience is preferred.
Prior experience with medical supplies is preferred.
Certification
Accounting certificate or equivalent experience is required.
Qualifications
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines is required.
