The Materials leader will manage a team of planners to optimize KPIs for Phu My plant operations.:
* Inventory to maintain on time to Start and inventory Value
* Production planning to Maintain Capacity utilization and Customer Ontime delivery.
* Manage the incoming customer projects to comply with Local Customs requirements.
This role requires a strong foundation in materials planning, MRP, and inventory control, combined with the ability to take ownership, influence stakeholders, and progressively lead within the team.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Manage the Local Materials team within the shop to support the operational execution and deliver on time
· Responsible for Material processes and team execution to make sure raw materials are ready on site to support the production start dates
· Supervise the production planning processes to:
● Create and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) aligned with demand forecasts and capacity constraints
● Establish realistic production timelines considering lead times, material availability, and resource constraints
● Monitor schedule adherence and implement corrective actions to address deviations and improvement request from customers
● Update and improve accuracy of the PhuMy SIOP Supply Plan
· Creation and maintenance of site level Plan for Every Part (PFEP) to define Inventory targets and drive improvements actions as required
· Optimization of Material SAP data and Material Processes to support production processes (Lean, efficiency, quality)
· Implement RVS master data standards, templates, and data dictionaries across systems, covering master data required for end-to-end supply chain.
· Approve any changes to master data settings used in the site for Material planning Processes.
· Collaborate with global Master Data Governance and Digital Process Excellence (DPE) teams on implementing standards across digital tools as required
· Understanding Of Local Customs Execution and Supporting logistics transactions accuracy.
Qualifications Required:
· 3+ years in supply chain, manufacturing operations, or engineering
· Bachelor’s degree or above
· Fluent English reading & writing skills. CET6 >420 or TOELF/IELTS equivalent.
· Strong quantitative and analytical skills
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills
Desired Characteristics:
· Familiarity with PFEP methodology and its application to MRP, capacity planning, and shop floor execution.
· Background in lean manufacturing and standard work deployment, with an understanding of how data quality drives operational performance.
· Be able to read engineering drawings, Illustrated Parts Books, Service and Product definitions
