SCHEDULE: M-F; 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM OR 7:00 AM -3:30 PM
Provides hospital and affiliated facilities with materials to the designated area in an expedient manner and maintains accountability of supplies distributed and services performed. Performs inventory checks to ensure adequate supply distribution management. Builds client relationships with Nurse Managers and Buyer/Planners. Ensure proper training/coaching is delivered to new Materials Handling Technicians.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1 year of materials handling or related work experience
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Familiarity and ability to use ERP technology and Microsoft applications effectively
College degree preferred
Strong ERP system background w/ proven record of being a ‘super user’
For ElderONE only: 1 year of experience working with a frail or elderly population preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Builds relationships with Nurse Managers and Buyer/Planners and supports workflow and supply needs.
Trains and coaches new Materials Handling Technicians.
Manages inventory levels, replenishes exchange/supply carts, and ensures accurate par levels.
Maintains accurate inventory records, identifies discrepancies, and adjusts stock levels as needed.
Receives, verifies, organizes, and distributes incoming materials, including urgent and time-sensitive shipments.
Processes requisitions, purchase orders, returns, credits, repairs, and recalls accurately.
Fulfills and delivers supply requests, including ASAP and STAT orders, while maintaining proper documentation.
Coordinates the transportation and delivery of exchange carts, linens, medical supplies, and equipment throughout the hospital.
Performs physical inventory, medical gas checks, equipment tracking, and maintains organized and safe work areas.
Supports special responsibilities such as crash cart stocking/monitoring, reporting, fire safety, in-services, and other duties as assigned.

H - Heavy Work - Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires constant walking, standing or squatting.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
