We are looking for a Materials Handling Foreman/Forewoman join our headquarters at Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting hierarchically to the Head of SSC Saddlery,Testing & Logistic

You will be responsible to manage employees and to steer production processes assigned to your department aiming at achieving assigned objectives: productivity (volumes and costs), quality KPIs, materials return, injuries prevention, health status. You will be responsible for the following activities, through the coordination of TLs (Team Leaders: referent people for a blue collars team in the same production department):

  • Production teams management and coordination (blue collars), within your own departments supported by referents of each team (Team Leaders), aiming at achieve department objectives: Productivity, Quality, Materials return, Injuries prevention, Health status;
  • Daily support to TLs activities due to your hierarchical responsibility over blue collars;
  • Disciplinary leadership over production employees in your department;
  • Workforce organization in teams and re-organization in case of TLs absence;
  • Daily meeting with team leaders for alignment on production issues:
    • Activities planning & organization
    • Sharing of information and alignment
    • Problem and issues identification to discuss possible solutions.
  • Responsible for internal material feeding:
    • Kanban process;
    • Material trolley process from supermarket to the assembly areas;
    • Recovery activities for critical materials;
    • Material handling fleet management;
  • Awareness and knowledge of:
    • Production flows, processes and products;
    • Company organization & procedures;
    • Risks connected to activities, equipment and tools used in your department;
    • Health management program
    • Ideas management program
    • LPS (Lamborghini Production System)
  • People management:
    • Roles, activities and objectives definition within your teams;
    • Timing and activities flow definition;
    • People management and development in terms of competences.
  • Special task:
    • Continuous improvement/innovative material handling projects;
    • Stock management activities;
    • Involvement in project groups for the design of new material handling process (Sub-Project).

About you

  • University Degree in Engineering and/or technical/scientific University degree or degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in Automotive/manufacturing/industrial environment
  • Full proficiency in English and Italian; German is a plus but not mandatory
  • Organization
