Job Description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Pick and handle product for all high-bay picking activities.
  • Replenish corrugated materials to support departmental operations.
  • Assist Zone 48 with moving finished pallets from designated areas.
  • Move materials using approved equipment or manual handling techniques as required.
  • Utilize RF scanning equipment to accurately track and manage inventory movements.
  • Perform banding, wrapping, counting, and other material handling tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas through routine housekeeping.
  • Operate equipment safely and follow all Emerson, federal, state, and local safety requirements.
  • Meet department quality, attendance, and productivity expectations.
  • Support continuous workflow by collaborating with team members and other departments.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
  • Successful completion of Emerson training and certification requirements for applicable material handling equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, cherry pickers, and tri-loaders.
  • Ability to work at heights up to 20 feet while wearing required fall protection equipment.
  • Commitment to following all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 35 pounds; mechanical assistance is available for heavier items.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
  • Ability to effectively and accurately operate an RF scanner.
  • Ability to safely move, push, pull, wrap, band, and count materials throughout the workday.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Experience operating powered industrial equipment in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of JD Edwards (JDE) systems.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with inventory management and warehouse scanning systems.
  • Familiarity with material handling, shipping, receiving, or replenishment processes.
