Job Description

The Material Handler will assist with running the Warehousing/Logistics function. Duties may include receiving,

storing, issuing, and shipping materials, equipment, inventory cycle counts, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.

Spot travels to other locations outside of Guyana may be required.

  • Support organizing all shipments in line with company requirements.
  • Receive goods inward from suppliers and worksites.
  • Receive goods inward from offshore and organize in warehouse by locations.
  • Locate stock into designated areas.
  • Pick items for shipping onshore, offshore, and out of the country.
  • Support in coordinate cycle count and stock taking when required.
  • Prepare items for shipment to worksites.
  • Book out equipment/spares to workshop personnel and to job sites.
  • Participate in audits when required.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuously improving your working area through 6S activity.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to in order to ensure a safe working environment.

Other

Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.

Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.

Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.

REQUIRED

  • Two (2) to three (3) years' experience in warehouse environment environment preferred.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or equivalent related work experience.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and has the willingness to undertake new & challenging assignments.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Forklift qualification.
  • Dangerous goods by sea experience.
  • May include nights, weekends, and holidays work.

DESIRED

  • Diploma in Supply Chain Logistics.
  • Oil & Gas industry experience preferred.
