Position

The Materials Coordinator is responsible for leading the end-to-end supply chain operations at Polaris Monterrey, including production planning, raw material procurement, inventory control, material flow, warehouse operations, and shipping activities.

This role ensures the timely availability of materials to support production by coordinating cross-functional teams and driving efficient execution in a high-volume environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, warehouse operations, or material management.
  • Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles, inventory control, and production planning.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams including planning, warehouse, material flow, and shipping.
  • Experience in raw material procurement and supplier management.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of material planning, inventory control, and logistics operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in workforce planning and operational team management.

The Materials Coordinator oversees and coordinates production planning, material sourcing, inventory management, and internal logistics processes.

This role is responsible for leading planning, warehouse, materials, and shipping teams to ensure efficient operations and achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).

The position works closely with production, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure operational continuity, optimize costs, and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and service.
