Wood is currently recruiting for a Materials Controller with extensive experience in the petrochemical industry. This role supports our Process and Energy business and will be based full time at our clients site in Clitheroe Lancashire. The role is for a 12 month contract and we are open to either staff or contractor engagements.

The Role
The successful candidate will ensure the effective receipt, storage, movement and control of all materials to support the contract and business. You will liaise with Supply Chain, user groups, third parties, client and Supply Base & Marine contractors to ensure that all materials and equipment are received, marshalled and shipped in accordance with company procedures and internal controls.
In this role the Materials Controller will join a busy contract working closely with the wider Supply Chain team to ensure materials activities are carried out in accordance with the project execution within budget and in line with the project, processes and procedures.
We are looking for a logistical thinker with the ability to prioritise workload, work under pressure and within a team of Materials Controllers to ensure project deadlines are met.

We have a number of clients who we are working with to design their pilot plants to test exciting new technologies, with a view to partnering with them as they move to design and build full scale commercial facilities.
