The Material Control Supervisor manages material control and inventory accuracy for the assigned manufacturing operation. This role is accountable for ensuring disciplined execution of inventory processes, stable material flow to production, and strong compliance with Eaton internal controls. The position is also expected to drive continuous improvement initiatives, develop team capability, and act as the site subject-matter expert for material control practices.
1.Production & Operations Support
A.Ensure uninterrupted material availability to production lines in alignment with manufacturing schedules.
B.Resolve material-related execution issues in collaboration with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, and Quality.
C.Manage line-side inventory strategy and internal material flow to improve responsiveness, safety, and efficiency.
D.Serve as escalation owner for material control issues impacting production or customer commitments.
2.Inventory Control Ownership
A.Own end-to-end material control processes for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods at site level.
B.Ensure inventory accuracy through disciplined execution of receiving, issuing, transferring, and returning transactions.
C.Actively manage abnormal inventory (shortage, excess, obsolete, expired, scrap) and support disposition decisions with data.
3.Systems, Controls & Data Governance
A.Maintain integrity of material master and inventory-related data in alignment with Eaton global standards.
B.Own site-level material control KPIs (inventory accuracy, cycle count performance, discrepancies, inventory turns).
C.Ensure compliance with Eaton internal control policies and support SOX, internal audit, external audit, and customer audit activities.
4.People Leadership & Development
A.Directly supervise and develop material control.
B.Set clear expectations, allocate resources, and monitor performance against established KPIs.
C.Coach team members on process discipline, system usage, and problem-solving skills.
D.Support training, cross-skilling, and succession readiness within the team.
5.Continuous Improvement & Digital Enablement
A.Proactively identify gaps and improvement opportunities in material control.
B.Lead or significantly contribute to Lean, CI, or Industry 4.0 initiatives related to material visibility, automation, or process simplification.
C.Act as a change leader to ensure adoption and sustainability of new processes.
Bachelor’s degree or above
5~7 years related area in manufacturing sector

A.Solid expertise in inventory control principles and internal controls.
B.Hands-on proficiency with ERP systems (SAP MM highly preferred).
C.Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
2.Language & Communication
A.Fluent in Mandarin.
B.Working-level English for reports, systems, and communication with APAC / Global stakeholders.
C.Experience in a multinational or matrix organization preferred.
