We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Materials Co‑ordinator to join our team and support our operational services. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring materials are available, accurately tracked, and efficiently supplied to operatives—helping us deliver a high-quality service to our customers.
Based in our Loughton office, you’ll work closely with suppliers, planners, and operational teams to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently.

What you’ll be doing
As a Materials Co‑ordinator, you’ll be responsible for ensuring materials are managed effectively across our services, including:
Liaising with suppliers and partners to ensure timely delivery of materials to sites, stores, and operatives
Coordinating material supplies to support day‑to‑day operations
Monitoring van stock levels and ensuring replenishment within agreed timeframes
Tracking materials, investigating discrepancies, and resolving issues with suppliers
Allocating materials to the correct jobs and ensuring coding accuracy
Reporting on material usage, costs, and identifying opportunities for better value
Working closely with planners, operatives, and suppliers to keep workflows moving efficiently
Overseeing deliveries and supporting weekly planning of materials distribution
Maintaining accurate materials tracking systems (including Total Mobile Connect)
Updating hire item records and ensuring system accuracy
Supporting operatives with materials enquiries and stock location knowledge
Assisting with van audits, stock transfers, and non-standard orders
Producing KPI reports and providing general administrative support
Supporting teams to meet repairs targets and minimise work in progress
Keeping stores organised, clean, and safe
Working with subcontractors and new business areas to achieve value for money
Contributing ideas for improving processes and ways of working

You’ll:

Relevant qualification or equivalent practical experience
Experience within a materials, logistics, or supply chain environment (desirable)
Experience in administrative and operational support roles

Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
Strong organisational and coordination skills
Confidence analysing data and identifying trends or issues
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ICT systems
High attention to detail with a logical, analytical mindset
