Position Title: Strategic Capacity & Planning Sr Analyst

Department: Global Strategic Planning – Busway

Reports To: Director Global Strategic Planning

Position Summary

The Strategic Capacity & Planning sR Analyst is responsible for developing and executing the strategic capacity planning framework for the AMER Busway business. The role supports the Anderson and Reynosa manufacturing facilities by integrating customer demand, engineering readiness, manufacturing capacity, supply chain capability and commercial priorities into a single execution plan. The position acts as the strategic planning partner for the AMER region while complementing the Global Strategic Planning team through executive analysis, regional capacity governance, intercompany allocation recommendations and long-term planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop medium and long-term capacity strategies for Anderson and Reynosa manufacturing operations.
  • Evaluate constrained and unconstrained capacity, manufacturing resources and bottlenecks.
  • Lead strategic planning for major Engineer-to-Order (ETO) customer programs and assess delivery feasibility.
  • Partner with Sales, Program Management and Engineering to prioritize strategic opportunities.
  • Provide capacity planning inputs to the AMER SIOP demand/supply team.
  • Support Global Strategic Planning with intercompany allocation recommendations and global capacity balancing.
  • Identify capacity, engineering, material and supplier risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Monitor factory loading, backlog, pipeline, lead times and revenue outlook.
  • Prepare executive reports and present strategic recommendations to regional and global leadership.
  • Support inputs to capacity expansion, contract manufacturing to balance the demand-supply plan
  • Drive planning standardisation, forecasting accuracy and digital analytics using ERP, Power BI and planning tools (Excel, VB, SQL etc).
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance and Global Planning to achieve customer commitments.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline
  • 8–12 years' experience in Engineer-to-Order manufacturing, strategic planning, SIOP or capacity planning.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and program management.
  • Advanced analytical skills with ERP systems, Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
