Job Description

The Materials Analyst is responsible for controlling material flow to ensure 100% on‑time delivery to customers, zero material shortages, and achievement of financial and inventory targets. The role works cross‑functionally to support uninterrupted production and logistics excellence.

Key Tasks

  • Control and monitor material movement to prevent shortages and production stoppages.
  • Coordinate engineering changes with customers, planners, engineering, warehouse, and production teams.
  • Ensure 100% stock accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Track and resolve at‑risk materials, including escalation management for stop shipments.
  • Schedule materials according to customer demand while controlling inventory levels and month‑end targets.
  • Maintain zero loader errors, supplier discrepancies, and booking issues.
  • Monitor supplier performance, attend reviews with underperforming suppliers, and ensure zero arrears.
  • Control scrap levels and manage supplier returns related to quality claims.
  • Ensure compliance with logistics governance, authorization processes, and cost controls.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Material Planner in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of material planning, inventory control, and logistics processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Fluent Spanish and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
