About the team

The Supply Chain team is responsible for ensuring continuous supply of necessary components for production.

The team is always learning and trying to push the limits, relying in part on the large diversity of people’s profiles and backgrounds.

About the position

As a Material Supply Plan

ner, you will assist in overseeing inventory levels for essential satellite manufacturing components, helping to secure the plant's supply needs (tools, equipment) by processing purchasing requirements and tracking the arrival dates of the components.

In this position you will be the link between the purchasing team, supply chain and our production department.

Zonamerica, Montevideo, Uruguay

Responsibilities

  • Assist in guaranteeing the continuous supply of components necessary for production.
  • Help Verify and update the bill of materials necessary to supply the production.
  • Support the processes for the delivery of supplies and components from the supplier to the plant.
  • Understand and manage risks to minimize the impact on the production schedule.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in forecasting arrivals of inputs and components needed to maintain continuous production.
  • Communicate the schedule of deliveries by suppliers, verifying that they are carried out on time.
  • Support in the evaluation of suppliers together with the Global Supply Chain department.
  • Place the purchasing requirements and do the corresponding purchase tracking.
  • Maintain existing KPIs and generate reports
  • Identify and propose improvements for the area

About you

Experience & requirements

  • Advanced students or graduates of careers related to Administration, Accountancy, Foreign Trades, Logistics or similar.
  • Previous experience of at least two years in a similar role.
  • Experience in managing ERP systems. (highly valued)
