The opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented material specialist to join our global R&D team. This role ensures high‑quality, standardized transformer material data in the PLM system by creating accurate specifications, supporting factories in adopting standard parts, cleansing legacy data, and coordinating with cross‑functional teams to improve consistency and efficiency across the product lifecycle.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Responsible for creation of new technical specifications for transformers’ standard raw and semi-finished materials, in a central data repository in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management).

  • Support factories in implementation of standard reusable materials and parts. Responsible for analysis of materials’ data and attributes, classify them as per global/local repository level.

  • Map the local standard materials to global specification and validate parameters’ values. Responsible for data quality – accuracy, compliance and completeness of specifications and standards of transformer materials.

  • Migrate and cleanse existing legacy standards to central repository of standard materials and parts. Handle and oversee daily operational requests.

  • Provide support to users, by proper selection of classification grouping and attributes’ values for standard materials.

  • Works closely with other core team members to define and maintain classification structures and attributes for global standard parts different categories.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders from engineering, procurement, supply chain and quality via different channels of communication (email, chat, meetings).

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or material or metallurgy or chemical engineering or related filed with 3-5 years of experience.

  • Strong knowledge of semifinished /Raw Materials and standards (ISO, DIN, IEC, IEEE, ANSI). Proactive and work independently. Tasks and time self-management and prioritization

  • At least 3 years or more of relevant work experience in Transformer industries. Proven skills in technical data management and document management.

  • Experience in PTC Windchill or other PLM software. Experience with ECM Process (Engineering Change Management).

  • Exposure to use of 3D CAD modelling tools (Creo Parametric, Creo View). Demonstrated ability to learn Engineering tools.

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
