We are seeking a Material Specialist to support our Engineering & Facilities team through purchasing, inventory management, procurement coordination, and materials control activities that help keep the resort operating safely and efficiently.

This full-time position reports to the Director of Engineering & Facilities and will be working onsite at Aulani Resort on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.

Responsibilities:

• Position includes both office and field work.
• Schedule flexibility required based on business needs.
• Process material and spare parts orders and track them through completion.
• Coordinate material requisitions and procurement activities for Engineering & Facilities operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and support inventory accuracy and replenishment.
• Track purchase orders, invoices, and payments using SAP and related systems.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and movement of materials throughout the resort.
• Partner with Engineering, Planning, Sourcing & Procurement, and Shared Services teams to ensure material availability.
• Maintain compliance with Disney purchasing, inventory, safety, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, materials control, inventory management, or a related field.
• Experience using SAP or similar purchasing/inventory management systems.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• Experience with Coupa, Maximo, SmarTeam, HotSos, or similar systems.
• Experience supporting engineering, facilities, hospitality, or maintenance operations.

The hiring range for this position in Hawaii is $23.50 to $33.91 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
