Material Demand Forecasting and Procurement Planning
Accurately forecast material requirements based on production plans, sales forecasts, and inventory status, and develop and execute procurement plans.
Supplier Management and Purchasing Operations
Maintain close collaboration with suppliers to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective material procurement. Handle purchasing operations including issuing purchase orders, managing delivery schedules, and negotiating non-price factors such as lead times.
Inventory Management and Optimization
Ensure appropriate inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts. Lead inventory counts, analyze inventory turnover, and drive initiatives to reduce obsolete stock.
Collaboration with Manufacturing
Align material supply with production schedules and respond flexibly to schedule changes or urgent requirements.
Data Analysis and Improvement Proposals
Analyze supply chain-related data and prepare KPI reports. Propose improvements to enhance operational efficiency and inventory accuracy.
System Utilization and Standardization
Leverage ERP systems (such as Oracle) to promote standardization and reduce dependency on individual expertise in material operations.
Quality and Compliance Adherence
Ensure compliance with medical device regulations, internal quality standards, and corporate compliance requirements while maintaining procurement process quality.
Shipping Coordination (Domestic & Export) and Export Documentation
Coordinate domestic and international shipments, verify and prepare necessary export documentation, and ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
On-Time Delivery (OTD) Improvement Initiatives
Drive improvement activities to enhance OTD performance and strengthen overall supply chain efficiency.
