Material Scheduler Section Head

You will lead the materials scheduling team at our Egypt site. You will deliver accurate materials plans and ensure on-time availability for production. You will work closely with production schedulers, procurement, warehouse, quality and suppliers. Responsibilities:

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Responsible for generation of 13 Weeks Master Production Schedule ( MPS ) on weekly basis to optimally support the net requirements endorsed by the RSDH and S&OP production plan process so that supply / logistics capability and demand are balanced effectively.
  • Manage consistently the Stream order fulfillment and shop order flow process to produce excellent customer Service.
  • Running Rough cut capacity plans (RCCP) and capacity resource plans, to ensure availability of resources and validation of production plan from capacity standpoint.
  • Daily follow up and monitoring of Execution and control of production operations, including Work center Loading, Pipeline flow, Shop Order release / sequencing and WIP level control.
  • Responsible for MRP run to extract all required materials plan & all inbound materials volume forecast.
  • Responsible for exception message reporting and handling on weekly basis.
  • Rolling 3 months materials availability with shortage list on monthly basis.
  • Responsible for all purchase order activities on SAP according to the MRP process run
  • Responsible for The Vendor Scheduling process.
  • Ensure stock viability by identifying & cleaning up all non-usable stocks using different techniques and measure materials & supplier’s performance.
  • Ensure Data maintenance, system clean-up from obsolete items & update planning parameters.
  • Responsible for Materials and Finished goods inventory managing and reporting.

Basic Qualification:

We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Pharmacy, Business, Logistics, or related field.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in materials scheduling, planning or materials management within a manufacturing environment.

- Hands-on experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems for ordering and inventory.

- Strong Excel skills and basic data analysis ability.

- Good written and spoken English and Arabic communication skills.

- Able to work on-site; role is on-site in Egypt with occasional hybrid flexibility depending on site needs.

Preferred Qualification:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

- Experience in pharmaceutical, regulated or FMCG manufacturing environments.

- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and quality systems.

- Familiarity with planning concepts such as safety stock, lead time, and capacity planning.

- Experience with MRP optimization, vendor managed inventory or consignment stock projects.

- Certifications in supply chain or planning (APICS, CSCP or equivalent).

- Experience using SAP SNP-APO, ECC or other advanced planning tools
