Job Title: Material Resource Planning Controller- Make

Working Pattern: Onsite 9/80 schedule

Working Location: Indianapolis, IN

As an MRPC Make for Rolls-Royce, you’ll be responsible for planning and controlling schedules, as well as coordinating with manufacturing operations to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials are timed to meet customer requirements. You’ll have the opportunity to work with management and internal customers, advising them of the work in progress status, material availability and potential production obstacles to ensure on time delivery.

What you will be doing:

  • Working with manufacturing to create and implement a credible plan that meets customer requirements
  • Ensuring all raw materials available for production via system scheduling and by working closely with purchasing group
  • Working with SAP IM and WM
  • Follow WIP Cycle Count and floor store count process to maintain system accuracy of material ensuring timely transactions of any discrepancies
  • Maintaining ERP systems with robust and credible data that creates suitable supply elements that support the delivery of the customer demands/requirements
  • Managing deliveries, as well as making balanced business decisions under trying and ambiguous circumstances
  • Communicating with cross functional teams and the production team for a clear understanding of the customer
  • Facilitating the logistics methods for delivery and movement of parts

Basic Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree with 4+ years of work experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing, OR
  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of work experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing, OR
  • Master's degree, OR
  • JD/PhD, OR
  • In lieu of degree 6+ years of work experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing
  • In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Requirements:

  • Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) experience
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience collaborating with various departments
  • Familiarity with load and capacity planning and Bills of Materials (BOM’s)
  • Union environment experience

A 9/80 compressed workweek means an employee works 80 hours over nine days in a two‑week period. Generally, this means working nine hours Monday ‑ Thursday, with alternating eight‑hour Fridays and “off” Fridays.
