Smart Environmental is seeking a reliable and motivated MRF operator to join our supportive team based in Feilding.

Acquired by Blue Planet our mission is to divert waste from landfill, and with a large fleet of collection vehicles and line haul operations, we are committed to driving sustainability for the communities and businesses we serve.

About the Role:

• Contract Type: Permanent Full-time
• Days of work: 5 Days (Monday to Friday)
• Hours of work: Minimum of 40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities:

• Ability to differentiate material types
• Communicating with internal staff
• Sorting and collating recyclable materials
• Strong awareness of Health and Safety

Skills and experience:

• 
  Holds a NZ Class 1 driver’s licence or equivalent.
• Forklift Licence is essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong hand eye co-ordination
